After reading some of the fictional works I really enjoy myself, but I felt it would do more justice to the class if I compare a piece of fiction to non- fiction and see how the two books related to each other and everyday life in general. The two books I chose were On the Road by Jack Kerouac and MAKES ME WANNA HOLLER by Nathan McCall
As I look at the two books I chose I think these book show the life in it's truest essences. The two books show a man willingness to run from responsibility and maintain childlike qualities. They both show the comradery of friends and the evil men do. The only difference between the books is Nathan gets tired of the life he leads and changes. Sal and Dean continue on aimlessly. I think a good fictional both should relate to reality in some way that's why I wanted to realty this to one of my favorite non- fiction books.
